Welcome to the Chico’s German Shepherds Kennel. We are a family owned and operated kennel that is located in Paradise, Northern California. We share our home with our loving German Shepherds we’ve had the pleasure of raise since they were puppies.
We breed German Shepherds that come from pure Western Showline. All of our sweet, beautiful dogs are AKC registered and come from a line of World Champions. We specialized in short hair black and red pigmentation. We have raised our German Shepherds to make gorgeous and remarkable companions. They have a brilliant temperament around children and around other animals. They are tremendously smart and immensely loyal to their owners.
It is important to us that we breed only dogs that pass our health standards. We test and certify our dogs with OFA for Hips, Elbows and DNA. We put a great emphasis on producing puppies that are not at risk of developing Degenerative Myelopathy.
Although we put a great priority on health certifications and genetics, we also know that selecting the right male for the right female is equally as important. Lineage, Temperament, Drive and bidability play a tremendous part of our successful breeding program. We maintain the highest quality of breeding standards.
Our main goal and passion is to provide you with a healthy, loyal companion and support the journey you experience with your companion. We are a resource to the people who have bought our puppies for a lifetime, should they want or need it.
